In 2007 Zavoloka started series of "Universe Elements" releases with her CD "Viter", dedicated to the Air Element. And since 4 years here comes the second volume from series, dedicated to Purification by Water - "Vedana".

It is exploration of Water Element, inspired by knowledge about Ukrainian Cossacks-Magicians, so-called Kharakternyky, that could control forces of nature, particularly water. They used to drink spring water to purify their energy and to became undistinguished and fluid as water. To reach inner melting.

The music is composed by Kateryna Zavoloka, transmitting different states of water and how they can be specifically translated to the sound.

Kvitnu meets spring with a 15th release and a new artist in our family!
We are pround to have amazing duo from Italy Plaster with their first full length work on our label.
Their first work is called "Zyprex 500" and consist of 6 tracks of extremely complex, multilayered and very intelligent psychedelic music.

Plaster has begun in 2008 and it is comprising of Gianclaudio H. Moniri (Kaeba) and Giuseppe Carlini (Agan). Having the same musical passion, they came together in hopes of creating more dimensional audio experiences via experimental electronic music, able during their shows, to creating in the spectator a deep immersion in a dark space. The project has already collaborated with superb visuals artist like David Terranova, Lasal (Aristides Garcia) and Tzpx (Emanuele Foti). And now, after numerous live presentations around Europe, Plaster's music is finally found it's way out on Kvitnu.

Zavoloka

...The greatest surprise, perhaps, is the level of distortion in the aforementioned bass. The EP's opening few seconds tumble from warm resonance into the noisy pain of suffering speakers. The "light" evoked in these instrumentals is clearly meant to be disorienting, if not blinding...
